Bloug: Updated Enterprise IA Roadmap
This is fantastic. Much like we are doing at Bowdoin on the web site… at least that’s the goal set in last summer’s redesign. The top tier is particularly useful and our home page is the “politicized page”; perhaps after we launch the new “academics” section that will be the so called enterprise-centered main page; and, our audience pages provide a user centered faceted view.
I’d still like to expand on our site map. I had ideas last summer but wasn’t able to implement them, nor communicate effectively to anyone who could implement a richer, multi-view site map. Basically we have A-Z — I’d like to add a shallow to deep topical hierarchy and expand upon the business function hierarchy idea.
