Office 2008 for Mac: It’s coming this year – Applications – Breaking Business and Technology News at silicon.com
Microsoft’s Sheridan Jones, a group marketing manager in Redmond’s Macintosh Business Unit, said: “It’s very Mac-like. It’s not an incredibly abrupt change for our users.”

You know what Microsoft?

We don’t care about Office 2008 being “Mac Like”. You can’t do mac-like work. We want it to be simple. We want Office 2008 to have full compatibility with Exchange! Why is there such a gulf in features between Outlook and Entourage? Better, why is it so difficult to sync what amounts to text data with Exchange and other, 3rd party applications, much less your own Entourage (which does not support syncing tasks, notes, or some calendar features).

We care about parity, timeliness, and craftsmanship… all of which you prove to be missing.
