2nd Life Campus

The New Media Consortium (NMC) posts a video about their 2nd life “campus” during the 2006 conference:

I’ve thought this was an idea worth pursuing. It won’t replace meat-space but as an early participant in art crit and theory lists I have always found a community is a community is a community. As an online community builds and matures mash-ups, meet-ups, and face time happens eventually.
