Why does the Times Skimmer logo look like Google Chrome?

I’ve used the NYTimes Skimmer since the early beta release but when they rolled it out officially something scratched my brain. That logo looks an awful lot like Google Chrome’s logo. Yet both are not right, one is RGYB, the other RYBK … which flies in the face of standards RGB, RGBY, CMYK. I am surprised a typographically and design oriented place like the Times would not at least adhere to one color space. 🙂
