macosxhints – Disable the touch switches on Apple LCD monitors Hold down Shift and Command and then click on the Displays preference panel. Quit System Preferences, then hold down Shift and Command and touch the Brightness switch on the front of the monitor. Gotta love hidden features.

mezzoblue ��� Positioning and the Cascade A great tip from David Shea at mezzoblue… unraveling the abstracts of CSS one string at a time. Thanks DS for the content. Is is a combination of reading the spec and figuring this logic out? Or is it pure trial and error? I vote for latter.

Brown has an interesting entry point into their course web site pages. Essentially turns browsing course web pages into an application for viewing the data in different ways. You can filter based on department and semester. Very easy to do (given the right background architecture and likely increases the usability a lot.
