Our post-thanksgiving day trip to cut a tree down for the next holiday typically is followed by a walk. This walk was shorter due to waning light and certain under-dressed people. Not far inland the snow was several inches heavier than in Portland. The dog, for one, needed to get outside.
Me, after a ride from Portland to Kennebunk, Will and Julian after a soccer match, Bob after a warm day … all went swimming in the actually warm Atlantic for probably the longest I’ve been in all year. This, in late September. Nice… [vimeo clip_id=”30631219″ width=”900″ height=”]

Our neighbors are leaving … Ted grew up in his house and moved back in ’96(?) to take care of his folks. Both Ted and Sue grew up in Maine and are leaving the state for warmer climes and to live with family. It’s going to really change the neighborhood.
